7 Signalling use of the Masterlist Profile

To indicate that a Sales/Usage Report is created in accordance with the Clause 5 of this profile, the ProfileCell in the HEAD Record shall contain the value MasterListProfile and the ProfileVersion Cell shall contain the value 1.2. This is the default variant of the Masterlist Profile that should be used.

To indicate that a Sales/Usage Report is created in accordance with Clause 6 of this profile, the Profile Cell in the HEAD Record shall contain the value MasterListProfileSRB and the ProfileVersion Cell shall contain the value 1.2.

The architecture for Sales/Usage Reports created in accordance with this part of the DSR standard is defined in Part 1 of the Digital Sales Reporting Message Suite. The Records referenced in the remainder of this part of the DSR standard are defined in Part 8 of the Digital Sales Reporting Message Suite.

If the licensee and licensor use this part of the DSR standard for both pre-usage and post-usage reporting (see Clause 4 of Part 1 of the DSR standard), the licensee is expected to employ reasonable endeavours to ensure that the data provided for describing releases, resources and musical works remains stable within all Sales/Usage Reports exchanged in relation to such releases, resources and musical works.
